Two arrested after troopers say woman shot man in Pompey

Pompey, N.Y. — Two people were arrested Monday for a Pompey shooting, troopers said.
Around 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 23, troopers responded to 8698 Number 5 Road in Pompey after receiving reports of gunshots.
After a fight, Kathryn S. Robinson, 28, of Fabius, shot Andrew E. Peterson, 23, of Manlius, in the leg, Trooper Jack Keller, a spokesperson for the State Police, said Friday.
Peterson was taken to Upstate University Hospital, troopers said.
Robinson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, Keller said. She was released on her own recognizance, he said.
Peterson was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and two counts of second-degree harassment, he said. Peterson was released on an appearance ticket, he said.
